Need Urgent Mental Health Support?
At Melanie Talks, we are passionate about helping people improve their mental well-being through professional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and supportive therapeutic interventions. However, there may be times when you need immediate assistance beyond the support that we can provide.
If You Are Experiencing a Mental Health Crisis
If you feel that you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else, or if you are experiencing a serious mental health emergency, please seek urgent help straight away.
Call 999 and request an ambulance.
Attend your nearest Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
Contact NHS 111 for urgent advice and support.
The NHS 111 service can help direct you to the most appropriate support and, in some cases, arrange for you to speak with a trained mental health professional.
Contact Your GP
Your GP is often an excellent first point of contact when you are struggling with your mental health. They can discuss treatment options, provide advice, and refer you to specialist mental health services where appropriate.
How Melanie Talks Can Help
While urgent or crisis situations require immediate medical support, many people benefit from ongoing therapeutic support to help them better understand and manage their thoughts, emotions and behaviours.
At Melanie Talks, Melanie Hill provides professional CBT support for individuals experiencing challenges such as:
Anxiety and excessive worry
Depression and low mood
Stress and burnout
Panic attacks
Low self-esteem and confidence issues
Phobias
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Sleep difficulties
Life transitions and personal challenges
Through compassionate, evidence-based CBT, Melanie can help you develop practical coping strategies, build resilience, and create positive, lasting changes in your life.
If you are not in immediate crisis but would like support with your mental health and wellbeing, please get in touch to discuss how CBT could help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
